Starting on ELELYSO

What if my doctor is changing me to ELELYSO from imiglucerase?

Studies in small numbers of people with Type 1 Gaucher disease, have shown that the condition remains stable when changing treatment from imiglucerase to the same dose of ELELYSO.12

How long will I have to take ELELYSO?

Your doctor will assess your condition, monitor your response to treatment and advise of any adjustments . As Gaucher disease is an inherited condition, life-long treatment is generally required.

How is ELELYSO given?1

ELELYSO is given through a drip into a vein (by intravenous infusion). The drip should be given over 60 minutes to 120 minutes. It may be given to you in hospital or at your home, if your doctor considers this appropriate.1

ELELYSO should only be given under the supervision of a doctor (or healthcare professional), who is knowledgeable in the treatment of Gaucher disease.1

Treatment at home may be considered for people who tolerate their infusion well under the direction of a doctor, and must be given by an appropriately trained healthcare professional.1

How much to use?

Your doctor will decide the dosage and the frequency of the dose suitable for you.1
